Rock and Roll
Continuing on with Bike Month here in NYC, I came across this fantastic cargo bike from Madsen, $1300. The baby blue color is perfect, and who can resist the huge cargo tub that can carry pretty much anything?! It even conveniently has two removable benches with seat buckles inside for toting around your children.

Shake, Rattle and Roll
I was just reminding my Mom the other day how in my childhood neighborhood, we used to be out the door playing from sun up till sun down. It doesn’t seem like children today have that same safe, fun, atmosphere. Then, I heard today that 1 in 5 children is overweight, and that childhood obesity has tripled in the last 20 years-unbelievable!
So when my sister, Meaghan, (Head Performance Coach at All 4 Sports and Fitness) tipped me off to the kids programs they offer, I knew I had to share them with you.
The 45 minute training sessions are available for children ages 6-13, Monday- Thursday. Divided by age groups, the workouts focus on coordination, muscle strength, movement games, and caloric burn.

Small Wonder
Small Magazine’s online (glam)agazine is anything but. It is chock full of fantastic designers, writers, photographers, and out of control creativeness! What can I say- I am a BIG fan! Plus, they dropped the 10th issue today, which happens to be the Summer 09 installment. Check it out here, and while you are there, sign up to receive emails announcing when the next one has dropped!

Lego Logo
As a child, I remember spending hours building all sorts of things with my Legos. And I have always wanted to take a trip to Legoland in California.
Now, I have a new excitement- check out the gadgets Lego has brought to the (high tech) table. A Digital Camera, MP3 player, Boom Box, and Walkie Talkies. They are hitting store shelves this summer, and are so cool looking you might have to buy two. One for you, and one for you child of course!
Keep checking back to Lego’s website here for information, and to purchase

Dino-tensils
You know I love anything with a dinosaur theme. So, naturally, when I came across Bambu’s Bamdino Utensils, $9 for set, I was smitten- LOVES them!

Yikes Stripes!
I have said it before, and I will say it again- I am in love with stripes!
So when I came across Jack and Lulu’s orange and white stripey straws, I knew they would perfectly compliment summer smoothies, and milkshakes… too bad they are not even for sale yet! They just scream classic and vintage to me, and I can’t wait until they are available.
Keep a look out for the straws on Jack and Lulu’s website here, and while you are there check out the adorable stationary products!
